Maggie Morton

After years of working for small and large nonprofits, Maggie was inspired to start her own consulting firm focusing on what she believes are pivotal ideas, expertise, and actions in nonprofit and social enterprise. For her, this work feels like a true calling. As the founder of M2 Philanthropy, she ensures the mission, vision, and values drive our work as we focus on ensuring our client’s goals are achieved. Overall, Maggie is our firms leader in overall management, as well as, success and growth.

Maggie has extensive experience in designing, building, and managing the implementation of strategic initiatives enabling nonprofits and corporations to make an impact. Prior to founding M2 Philanthropy, Maggie worked extensively within nonprofit organizations on improving capacity building, enhancing board effectiveness, and executing various types of innovative fundraising programs for mission-critical organizations across a variety of sectors including healthcare, human services, and education.

She prides herself on being a dynamic, passionate, and well-rounded fundraising professional with varied experience. More than anything, she believes deeply in the work of nonprofit and social enterprise. She recognizes the ways her life was changed by people who committed to causes bigger than themselves. Her ambition is driven by wanting to be a facilitator in elevating philanthropy to help as many people possible, knowing that the need and the opportunity it great.
